High Levels Of Uric Acid In The Blood

High levels of uric acid in the blood are as dangerous as high levels of blood cholesterol. The public does not seem to be much aware of the risk involved. A high level of blood uric acid is a pushing factor in causing coronary artery disease, like high levels of blood cholesterol.
High levels of uric acid should be detected as early as possible, especially in persons who are prone to coronary artery disease/heart attack, or have a family history of heart attack or even stroke. The estimation should be done more frequently if the patient is addicted to alcohol, or mainly takes a non-vegetarian diet. In all cases of stone, either in the gallbladder or in the urinary tract, uric acid must be tested. The testing of blood uric acid is highly valuable in cases of problems of the joints, backaches and even in cases of vague aches and pains. If this test is ignored and high levels of blood uric acid are not taken note of, the patient will continue to suffer from backache or vague aches/pains, and moreover, various other complications of high blood uric acid may also appear in due course.
Uric acid is one of the constituents […]

How To Control High Blood Uric Acid?

How to Control High Blood Uric Acid? This is very common question and this articles will help you to solve this problem.
High levels of blood uric acid may occur during the course of various diseases. For example, if kidneys are damaged even due to some other cause, say as a result of chronic infection or prolonged high blood pressure, or in acute cases, like acute nephritis, blood uric acid levels will rise, because the kidneys will not be able to maintain the normal levels of blood uric acid. And, in such cases, both kidneys and high blood uric acid require equal attention.
In some other diseases also, e.g. when a person is suffering from leukaemia, malignant tumours, polycythaemia, psoriasis, cyanotic congenital heart diseases, pernicious and haemolytic anaemias, during the administration of anticancer drugs, blood uric acid is likely to get raised as a result of excessive tissue breakdown. Again in such cases, care of both the primary disease and high level of blood uric acid is required so as to save the patient from additional complications due to high blood uric acid.
Besides the above, blood uric acid can also rise in other diseases which may be listed as: myxoedema, hypoparathyroidism and […]

Back Pain’s Newly Discovered Cause

This article is about a cause of back pain which most people, including doctors, don’t understand.
This back pain cause is not disease such as cancer or arthritis. It is not injury such as falling off a ladder. Also, it is not a mentally caused pain…it is a very real pain.
This back pain is caused by incorrect use of voluntary muscles. Voluntary muscles are muscles you can control. Do this. Lift your arm. There you used voluntary muscles.
You can cause pain by using, or not using, your voluntary muscles incorrectly. By using one hand to bend the fingers of your other hand backward you can cause pain. This is an example of incorrectly using voluntary muscles and causing pain.
This discovery, called Denlinger’s Discovery(TM), is about another cause of pain throughout the human body and how to fix it. Denlinger’s Discovery came about by applying engineering basics to the human body. Using these engineering basics one can also increase the load carrying capability of the body. In this article we’ll only look at one function, of several functions, of the back.
In 1759 a Switzerland born scientist named Leonardo Euler (1707-1783) developed the first, most basic formulas about […]
